Greetings and welcome to this week's TLFG.
How has your week been? I managed to get to QPR's midweek 4-1 win over Derby County at Loftus Road - it was my first time watching the first team this season and it was pretty impressive to say the least.
However, normal service resumed on Saturday with a 3-0 loss at Birmingham City. Typical!
Anyway, this week's guide is a bit fuller than the last couple so hopefully you get something useful out of it.
Right, I don't have much more to add so have a great week.
THE WEEK AHEAD
As usual, the Premier League tops the bill this week and it's struggling Tottenham Hotspur who will feature the most beginning at home to Coventry on Monday night. Winless and bottom of the table, this match against another one of the division's strugglers is absolutely huge for the north London club.
If they mess this up, things aren't going to get any easier on Saturday when they travel to Stamford Bridge for a big derby against Chelsea who will come into the game in the top four.
Elsewhere that day, Arsenal will look to keep pace with leaders Manchester City by winning at home to Everton whilst on Sunday, Crystal Palace and Newcastle will both be looking to recover from disappointing results when they meet at Selhurst Park.
The game of the week in the Championship sees title favourites West Ham United host Southampton at the London Stadium.
If you can't get a ticket for that then QPR face leaders Swansea City which should be well worth a watch too.
In League One, struggling Bromley entertain former Premier League champions Leicester City in a fixture few of the home fans would've seen coming a few years ago.
Barnet are a point off top spot in League Two and they have two very winnable home games against Swindon Town and Oldham Athletic which could well see them move ahead of Salford City if they win them.
Moving into non-league, Boreham Wood could extend their lead at the top of the National League to a commanding 10 points if they beat AFC Fylde and other results go their way.
Arguably the deal of the week will be found at Victoria Road on Saturday where all tickets are just £1 as Dagenham & Redbridge take on Chesham United in a National League South fixture.
On Tuesday there's one replay in the FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying with London's oldest club Cray Wanderers welcoming Bedford Town to Flamingo Park. The visitors play a level above so they should start as favourites against the Isthmian League side.
It's also the next round of the FA Trophy this weekend. Isthmian League leaders Enfield Town against Hanworth Villa, one of the leading clubs in the parallel Southern League, is my pick of the ties.
In the eighth tier Isthmian League North, Redbridge welcome title-chasing Gorleston for what is, at the time of writing, a top-five clash.
There's a similar match-up in the Essex Senior League where Barking welcome leaders Frenford for an east London derby on Saturday. A short distance away at the same time, Ilford receive a visit from Romford for another derby.
In women's football, the highlight of the week without question is the North London Derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at the THS on Saturday lunchtime. Both sides have run into some bad form in recent weeks so this should be one of the closest games between them ever.
There's also a derby between Crystal Palace and Chelsea at Sutton United's ground at noon on Sunday.
At the same time in the second tier, Watford host Durham at Vicarage Road in what's already looking like an early season relegation six-pointer.
For clubs in the third tier and below, most of the action will be in the Women's FA Cup First Round.
At this stage, the third-tier clubs enter the draw alongside all the survivors from the earlier rounds.
Fulham are one of the top-ranked sides in the draw at this stage and they should brush aside sixth tier Enfield Town at Motspur Park.
QPR will look to cause an upset when Lewes, from the level above them, pay them a visit whilst fifth tier Brentford will look to knock out fourth tier Dartford who pipped them to promotion last season.
Minnows Hammersmith face an incredibly tough tie against third tier AFC Wimbledon but they knocked out higher-ranked Wycombe Wanderers in the last round and will look to create a great atmosphere at their Gunnersbury Park home.
My aim is to be at Bedfont Sports for Actonians' tie against fellow fourth-tier side Marine Academy Plymouth who make the long journey up from Devon. They sit just above Ascot United in their division - a side who the A's have already beaten twice this season, scoring 20 goals in the process.
At youth level there are a great selection of U21 games with matches in the Premier League International Cup, Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup. There's also a tie in the FA Youth Cup too.
As always, please make sure you check with clubs before you travel just in case a game has been called off or the venue or kick-off time has changed - this is highly possible for some of the lower non-league clubs and development matches. Also, please let me know if anything is wrong or missing.
